exactly, all references to V-8 were removed for the 41.

Hubcaps said FORD rather than V-8, likewise the tailgate and hood nose trim.

That 40-41 Two Great Trucks by Howard Towne is a great...

My 39 sometimes did it when on a decline and I let up some on the gas pedal, I just try to keep the engine "in a pulling" condition feathering the gas some and has worked fine not popping out of...

Check out funprojects.com, I got the 5055R had great installation instructions and with proper procedure for setting the generator third brush..VERY IMPORTANT:D

when I was looking for some good servicable blocks I quickly realized the 5/6:1 ratio, meaning roughly one in 5 or 6 blocks where worth using.

Pan rail cracks are quite common here in New England...

I have the Tractor supply product in my parts washer, works great and low odor.

I also have a nice exhaust fan in that area and usually widows or the doors are open.

What is also very helpfull...

Yes with that cab wood depending on the time built it would be 38/39 or in my case 39/40 had some different slash cuts where some supports where added.

Compared both and within a lb of each other when used on several different...

Shampe I noticed your working on a 39 from other posts...I ran into this with my 39 peekup.

There were some changes mid 39 to the cabs so with out comparison cab mounting wood you have a 50/50...

jerry....my "idea" would be find a 26 model T power plant and get it back to the way it was son:D

Other than a Flathead V8 there is no other exhaust note I like more than the Model T & A.

Ken has that new gasket possibly caused some venting issues. I had a simillar problem with my 77 and the little vent hole was plugged with pollen/dirt ect.

As that tank might heat up in this July...

Coker/Universal are "under the same roof", recently just got Lesters for my T through Universal. Great tires and great sales/service.

10 years ago or so got my Coker classics for my 39, again...

That is just with the door up, when backing out I have a chunk of 4x4 that levels the door up with just about 3" above the top:eek:
