Interesting! yeah I messed around with junkbox & defective distributors for too long before I wizened up some and started to figure out what's what. A serviceable distributor with the correct advance...

Distributor R&R and a basic understanding of the innards is a pretty useful skill to have. One of the cool things about the internet and website forums...
