On cars with a trunk were the larger tools somehow secured in the trunk so they wouldn't roll around or slide as you drove? I know the smaller tools are in a pouch but the pouch could also slide...

According to the 1935-36 Ford Book by Don Rogers, Ford discontinued the tool boxes in the coupes and cabriolets sometime in 1935 and the tools went under the front seat. I don't think I can't fit...
