A couple of dumb questions. We are picking up the rebuilt engine from the machine shop today. Have about 10 days till the Fordomatic is ready, so were close to putting it back in.

My machinist is ready to have me get the parts for a rebuild. Cam, pistons, bearings, valves, oil pump, valve hardware etc. I would think an all or none quote could be the way to go. Any suggestions...

Understood. This thing has a steering wheel the size of a 55 gallon drum, lots of torque in the wheel alone. .

Any suggestions on a steering box swap that would reduce the turns lock to lock. A whole lot of cranking to get this thing to turn.

Thanks I thought it was, but I wanted to be sure. I have a T and they are negative ground, I know A's are positive ground. When did they go to Negative ground?
