Ray: You're query regarding the rust acting like balancing beads occurred to me, too. I don't see why not, as...

Re: Alaskan A's
I'm not sure anybody on that trip had an actual 'hot water heater,' mostly just manifold heaters. But I sure did like the job Ted did on his Model A 'homemade' windshield defroster! Not sure Colleen...

Re: Clothes Pins On Fuel Line
Although I've never had a vapor lock problem on my A, I did experience terrible problems with it on my '51 Buick Roadmaster. It has a huge straight 8, and a very poorly designed path for the fuel...

Revealing possibly hidden treasure!
I want to explore the possibly hidden treasures that lie under the front seat of my early Briggs Town Sedan. I've owned the car for twenty years, and have never had a peek at what's under there.
I...

Re: Oil changes with filter
Kevin: Does your mileage changing intervals take into account the use of the more primitive, non detergent SA or SB rated oils that are frequently used in antique cars today? Or is it mainly advice...

Re: A mystery worthy of Sherlock
New clues! -The games afoot!
Had a friend and fellow A owner lend me his tried and true Zenith carb. This carb was known to run well and NOT backfire when the engine shut off.
So after...

No AH but lots of OOGHA
Many years ago my A's horn used to give out a perfect "AHOOGHA."
But over the years, with advent of Old Man Time and a lowered testosterone level that perfect AHOOGHA has somehow been reduced to...
