The middle one is '38-'39 Passenger car; The one on the right is '36 pickup (will work on '37 pickup); also backwardly compatible with '35-early '36, but with reversed switch-on position)

The drop in the picture is for '38-'47 pickup.
Correct column drop for '36 looks the same as passenger drop for '36.

The ‘40 trunk lock cylinder (Hurd version) can be modified to be able to remove key in locked or un-locked position. I usually keep one in stock , but can modify existing if OEM Hurd.

If you can't catch up with 32 Phil, I am still "cutting to code", but it is sometimes best to have the cylinder in hand to tweak for worn parts.

If you have removed the handle at one time, try removing and re-installing 180 degrees rotation to make sure the locking cam/slide bolt aligns with the slot in the lid when turning the key.

The 1125 blank has the correct groove and land to operate in all Ford and Mercury Hurd locks from 1932 thru 1951.
