Okay.... I havenít seen one of these before. What does it do? Presumably, it would ring, but why would the driver want it to ring? Just to make a different sound?

Please donít turn the engine using the fan. You may fatigue the blades and cause a crack. If a cracked blade eventually breaks off, it pretty much becomes an unguided missile.

Delrin does protect the lug nut area of the wheel, but the other end of the socket can still scar a nearby spoke. I ordered a Delrin socket from Amazon a while back, and I ended up returning it.
