Prolly the first thing I'd do is pull the plugs and pour a few ounces of MMO into each hole. Let it set for a day or so. Then try to turn it again. Then go from there....

You can run a 5/16-24 tap thru a stamped 1/4-20 or 5/16-18 wingnut to do the job. The application doesn't call for a high load fastener. Jack E/NJ

Volt-CCA or cold cranking power (watts) delivered to the starter is the main factor. How long that cranking power is able to be delivered determines the size of the battery. Jack E/NJ

Should work fine with an 8 volt alternator except for the cost, lights burning out quicker and stress on the ignition system. Other than that, go for it. 8^) Jack E/NJ

The heater hose & heater core are tiny relative to the radiator hose and radiator. So I think the heater is somehow affecting the flow & temp in the immediate vicinity of the sender, maybe not a real...
