Re: 1941 Woodie middle-seat feet/base question

Thank you, do you have any pictures of those? When I got the car, there was no back seat, or any associated parts, so I don't know what they would have looked like.

Re: 1941 Woodie middle-seat feet/base question

Very interesting, thank you. It sounds like good seating arrangement flexibility. Mine would never have had a third seat, because of its military origins - that may explain the floor difference.

Re: 1941 Woodie middle-seat feet/base question

Amazing, thank you! Once the seat frame parts fit into the holes, is there any kind of attachment, or does the weight of the seat keep everything in place? Thank you. Ed

Loads of weight! How much stretch did you get out of it?
Thanks, Ed

Re: Woodie roof material - any leads?

Thanks for the pictures, your woodie looks great! Ive been looking at my books too - it's often hard to tell if the top is textured or not - you've definitely got me thinking!
Thanks, Ed

Re: Woodie roof material - any leads?

It's several inches too short, so I don't think its stretchable sadly.

I was extremely disappointed to find...

Re: woodie outside door handle escutcheon

You are right. Sorry, it's past my bed time!
It's a 1941 woodie, but I think these bits are common up to '48.
They are the plates that sit between the door handle itself and the wood of the door...
