28/29 headlamps trade for 30/31 same

I am going to hammer / dolly fenders bolted to frame or body. I will then as Brent suggests, set everything back on the frame and start shimming...

When I took a framing square to the windshield opening in the body, the passenger side is almost perfectly square at the top corner and the drivers side top...

I will try to check the windshield opening in the body for symmetry left to right. Is that what you suggest that the upper part of the body could be skewed left and the upper hinges...

Outer cover u-joint color

I do not have the literature for painting parts and have been getting my info from Barners on this great site.

I am rebuilding mine from a '30 coupe.
It was a dark blue under some green when I hot pressure washed the oil off.
It also does not have any ID number stamped on the flat rectangle on the generator...

I had to replace my gas and spark rods. Rusted into column and not moving with out cutting off and driving out.
Now trying to replace rods with catalog ones and my original rod end horn fittings in...

Today I cut 2 slits in rear bushing and removed. Discovered oil groove in end plate that runs around to cotton plug on bottom of bushing housing. Makes sense now.
Pressed in new bushing...

I am rebuilding a 1930 standard coupe I have owned since 1977 when I was a college student, but was damaged in a garage fire 17 years ago and has been in storage.
Life now allows time to work on it....
