Re: Clutch finger adjustment in car
I have adjusted the fingers on a 9” in a V8. Yes, it is close, but I tied a line to the open end wrench to retrieve it in the event that it got dropped. Did not want to pull the transmission.

Re: Tighten up 37 brakes
I have posted on here before regarding the adjustment of cable brakes. I am assuming that all the shoes, springs, wedges and rollers are good and that the cables are lubed with white grease. Once...

Re: cam gear timing 1936 LB engine

Re: Ticking noise?
Pull the fuel pump push rod and fire it up to see if noise is still present.

Re: 1937 Ford question
Sharp looking Ford. - you have done an excellent job of bringing it back to something you enjoy and are proud of. Lots of fun and enjoyment. I restored a 38 phaeton and the before description of...

Re: Changed The Weight Of My Oil
Correction: Not 10W20, but use 5W20, Mobil 1. I want quick flow on startup and good flow thru the bearings for not only lubrication, but also cooling of the bearings.

Re: It RUNS ....and then it DIES....
I would suggest running a mechanical pump and use the electric pump to prime. I would forget the pressure regulator. I am assuming that the mechanical pump can pull thru the electric pump. I run...

The bearings would have numbers on them that would enable you to obtain replacement bearings at NAPA or an outlet that sells bearings. Not a problem.
