Re: Oh What Fun It Is To Ride
Being near Denver, you are close to the guys who raced out of a local dealer who's name is lost in my dusty old mind. Search Denver racers, they are old, but still active. Really nice 36, take good...

Re: Edelbrock 500 for 292?
The Edelbrock is a great carb for the street. Its only downfall is it is prone to boiling the gas in the bowl in very hot weather, after shut down. Fit as big a spacer under it that you can and still...

VHT has a high temp engine enamel in rattle cans with ceramic. It gives a nice shine and lasts much longer, but not on exhaust.

Re: Strng Bx-Drg Lnk-Stud Cntrl Valve Slack
On my 55, everything was in good shape, no leaks. At rest, engine off, there was nearly a half turn of play in the steering wheel. Engine running and pulling car at 50 or so, that amount of turn on...

Re: Control Valve Partial Rebuild in Car?
When removing the control valve from my 55, I found a pin the needed to come out. I used a vice grip and a small hammer. If I remember right, the valve needed a certain number of revs when...

Re: Power steering cylinder
Those cars seem to like to mark the floor. After mine was rebuilt, it still dripped just a bit. I put in half a bottle of Lucas P/S conditioner. No more leaks.

Getting hold of a new one; sounds like a business opportunity. Measure it, photo it from all angles. Save the info if you are not a welder.

Re: Replacement radiator fan for 292
Try to find an old style junk yard you can visit once in a while. Any fan on a Ford engine from the sixties through the nineties except 429, 460, and big sixes will fit the Y block. My 312 used a fan...
