It looks great if it's used correctly. Brush it on and it looks like powder coating when it cures. Been using it for about 20 years.

if you don't know how to pack a bearing by hand you can buy a bearing packer for about $15.

Ive used both....the putty is easier to work with when using it on a vertical surface. I use to rebuild broken cases on motorcycles in the point cover area with JB weld. It was a challenge to get it...

even better way is to use POR-15 epoxy putty. Two clay bars you mix equal portions together and when it hardens it is very tough. You can even drill and tap holes in it. And to make it smooth just...

Drive it for awhile and enjoy it......don't make the same mistake a lot of newbies make and think you have to immediately start a total restoration.

Easy way to check the radiator is to place you hand on the center of the core. If it's hot the radiator is ok....if it's cold it's clogged. Then you can move your hand outward toward the edges until...

That leaking oil was probably blowing onto the hot exhaust causing the smoke. Doesn't sound like an overheating problem.....just an oil leak.

Wow....2 other states only 20 minutes away? I drive farther than that just to get to work. Nearest other state for me is 4 hours to Louisiana, 7 to Arkansas, 9 to Oklahoma or about 11 to New Mexico...

Was trying to shock a ball joint loose from a spindle and the normal whacks weren't working. I had it between my feet to keep it from sliding when I hit it. The first hit went ok but the second one...
