Re: Installing Top Molding for 30-31 Pickup
I'm attempting this same metal 2-piece trim on the rear of my 29 Tudor and it's proving a real pain in the proverbial. I managed the front because it is a reasonably simple curve, but the rear bends...

Re: How to cut a hole in the apron?
I did the same as Fred but used a small curved hand-file to expand the hole. I had the apron fitted and didn't have a hole-saw. Bracket fitted, from the underside I drilled a small hole up through...

Hi Chris, I need some tips on bending the trim pieces that go along the front and rear ends of the fabric. Did you have to tackle this job? I have new trim pieces.
Thanks, Gus

Re: Top Trim Question?
Thanks, I like easy! I plan to cut and prep them, then separate the pieces and get them painted black before final fitting. Did you need a screw at each end?

Re: Reducing charge with rpm?
I took the gen (powerhouse) out yesterday and you were quite right, the commutator was slightly out of true. Not much but enough for me to see when I spun it by hand. It didn't measure out of round...

Reducing charge with rpm?
Righto, before I chase this electrical problem, I thought I would ask for advice.

Re: Installing LED stoplights?
I like your light. Do you happen to know the specs of the LEDs you used? Lumens? MCD? I want to make something similar as a lightbar in the back window. Do you have a 6 volt pos ground? Thanks

Re: Seat springs
Thanks for the thoughts. I Think I'll stick with original materials and enjoy the authentic ride. Hog ring pliers sound like the next purchase.
Thanks again.

Yep. Full interior kit including the seat covers. I was just wondering if I could improve the comfort without changing the original look?

The rear bracket is mounted...

Re: New to Model A - seat question
I have a 28/29 so not sure if this applies but.... check the front legs of the seat that bolt through the floor. They can be installed backwards for short people to reach the pedals.

I have no carpet/rubber mats in my 29 Tudor RHD yet. Where does the back edge of the front mat end? A pic would be really helpful. My guess is it stops just in front of the front-seat...
