I worked in a lot of diesel power plants, some of them used 6-71s that ran at 1200 RPM, they were fairly quiet, some of the power plants used 6-71s that ran at 1800 RPM and they were real screamers....

Would it not be better to pull away from the failed engine as the failed engine creates drag on that side and pulling towards it.........

I have lived on 2 different streets that were quite short and dead ended. It amazed me how fast most of the vehicles traveled up and/or down those short streets. I didn't have a Model A at those...

In the Arctic they use winter or Arctic grade diesel fuel to prevent gelling.

I would suspect that the oil level is too high in the tranny, causing the error code.
Is there a dipstick or other option for checking the oil level in that tranny?
My 2015 Jeep has no provision...

According to a TV show a couple of nights ago the current production of the Mack truck "Road Train" uses a computer controlled automatic transmission.
