I haven’t found a source for the hub sleeve races by themselves.The bearings that come with those races don’t hold up and I wouldn’t use them.I found now v8 bearings on eBay and am using them.Dennis

I had the same problem with my rebuilt engine several years ago,I had a B fill pipe and cap so I installed it and solved the problem. Its still on there with no leakage.

May be obvious but if it has a vacuum wiper make sure that It is not the source of an air leak . My car had a split rubber hose at the vacuum motor causing a similar symptom.

In my experience with reproduction wheel bearings I have found the end cages to be by heat treated and to soft.This allows the rollers to wear the cage get free,also metal worn from the cage...

What if you used a strap wrench to try and rotate the knob.They make them with a leather or vinyl covered strap and that should not damage the knob.

My experience with k200 is that it shrinks over time and pulls loose .I would not use it .

I use a product called door ease. It’s been around forever .It’s a wax like substance in a small paper tube.Just rub It on the dove tail.
