Thanks for the suggestions. I did try to crank by hand, but I could hardly turn the crank! I'll loosen the starter tomorrow, rock the car in third, and if that doesn't work I'll order a new switch....

I also have USAA and they directed me to American Collectors. Their rates seem very reasonable to me. I have not had any need to file a claim, so I don't know how quickly they settle claims.
