Re: Stock '41 V8: Is it 59, 59A or 59AB?

Probably 81A engine. Wartime were 41A. Here's a link to Mac Van Pelts site on the 24 stud engines from 1938 to 1948. http://vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/flathead_specs-85to100mid.htm

Re: Correct toe board 1936 pickup

Here's an extra I have. This was for I believe '37 and I know for sure '38 and '39 when the e-brake was moved from a transmission mount to under the dash. Besides the cut-out for that cable and the...

Re: Clayborne Update !!!

I've seen pictures with 2 bolt holes as well as only 1 on the legs. Also have seen some with longer feet where the legs mount to the block with a single hole or cut off very short at an angle. Since...

Clayborne Update !!!

Starting a new thread as the old one was getting quite long and confusing. Long story short I picked up my stand, ring and block from the machine shop that had it for 3+ months with no final price...

Check with Michael as he took over Roy's business. Here's a link to caged nut from his website. A call works great as he's one of the few that will actually take the time to talk to customers....

Re: Clayborne engine overhaul stand attachments maybe available

As I understand it yes, starting from a solid piece of steel and machine to size. If this was not the procedure the price would be far less. As far as pics, my plan was to get the first made and post...

Re: Clayborne engine overhaul stand attachments maybe available

Tim, yes these prices are only for the adapters. The problem all comes down to constructing the large ring for the front adapter, if not for that they would be far less costly. Each ring would be...
