thanks for the info on my Zenith 2 carb. Typo for mugs and mags should have been mfg.

ON the champion 3X spark plugs in the 1930 model-A's, did they use a copper washer or another metal?

Thanks Joop. Lived in Tucson 1965-68. Loved Arizona, but all our families were in the east. We had a great stay though from "65-"68.

Thanks for all the comments on the best plug. Trying to keep the"A" looking original. Will go with the 3x's gapped at .035. Cluck

having some maintenance done on my car and they noticed the steering gear box was low on oil so they topped it off with oil. now it is probably about 1/2 oil and 1/2 grease. One of the comments I had...

Hello Mister Moose,
Thanks for your reply. Put the grease in about 4 years ago. So far the A still steers good , I have no leaks, and the lights all work good. I'm 86 so I think it will work ok for...

Is it alright to use grease in the 1930 model-a steering box instead of 600wt oil?
