if I was on a long desolate trip I woulnt be afraid to carry extra fuel in a very high quality can.they aint cheap.

even if it works I would strongly advise rebuilding/bullet proofing it.if it lets go it aint pretty.ive got one in my 46 coupe and one in my 39 coupe and one in my 41 zephyr and just love them.

i have used brake fluid and a pine stick as a wick.its a nice soft flame,heats real slow and even.works like a charm.just keep toppinf off brake fluid.

you may have washed the oil off the cylinders causing low comp.if your sure cam timing and ignition timing are correct pull the plugs makr sure they are dry.oil the cylinders and try pull starting it...

if its got pin holes,if you braze it,which is what i would do you may open up new holes.i always leak ck them whith solvent because if flows so well.just take it out my tank and dump it back in when...

well I put a jack under the running board and a board on top with a jack and 2x4 and jacked the door.worked like a champ.thanks for the tips.

ill take a close look for a crack.the car is real nice.if parked on level ground the left rear is just a bit lower than the right side.if you pick up on the left side bumper and let go it looks...

i have a 39 coupe thats from the southwest.its never been rustyits restored but the body was never off.thats the way i bought it a few years ago.the drivers door sags just a little.the hinges are not...

id ck with gauge. and if low and rattling id say too much clearance some where.did this come up all at once?.i alwasys say if its quiet its got enough preasure unless your talkin race type engine.
