The hand brake is not adjustable. The brake adjustment procedure is in the reprint 1932-1936 Engine and Chassis Repair Manual "V-13" which is available from many parts vendors.

Re: Fuel Tank Sending Unit 1936

The six cylinder sending unit is likely different than the eight cylinder unit because the gas tank is a different size and shape which requires the wire arm to be a different length.

Definitely coil. Works when cool; fails when hot. Condenser failure is instantaneous and does not come back.

My '36 phaeton had the same gap on both sides between the iron and the wood. I showed it to a nearby master woodworker, and he said that he could fill the gap with wood and the seam would not show. ...

Unfortunately, the stainless '36 Fords had carbon steel floors that went away just like the floors in all the other '36 Fords.

The '36 intake does not have ribs under the carburetor. That area is larger and more rounded than '35.

'35 and '36 roadster (and phaeton) side curtains are different because of the differences in the wind wing brackets.
