Model a modern style distributor

For Sale : Completely rebuilt Distributor using Nu-Rex modern upper plate with new Points and Condenser.
I timed it to my A and it started and ran very smooth.

Distributor castings

I need a few (6-10) good distributor casting.
No broken clamp ears, cracks or broken lower bushing housings please.
$15 to $20 a piece- condition from just casting to some assemblies.

Take the distributor out remove the lower sleeve and the shaft, buy a new cam and shaft for $25 or so. Replace it and drive your A

Work on the shaft/cam using all the ideas others have sent you...

All have given you good methods to fix the problem.
I would pull the distributor, remove the pinned lower sleeve the remove the shaft with the cam on it. Replace the shaft and cam for $25.00 or so,...

I am in the need of used Model A Distributor CONDENSERS for rebuilding modern point Distributors. They will be used as a false condenser.
$0.25 each- must be whole and not crushed.

by changing the distributor, you have already eliminated the points, condenser and ignition wire or all elements in the distributor, right??? if a wire was loose on the coil the missing would be...

I had mine powder coated and it sure looks great Gloss Black and no chips and wipes off like new. Wheels also if you can find the right color.
