Kube, thanks for bringing up this thread again, that is a beautiful car as the others have already noted. Now, I guess, I will have to go through this entire discussion to review the process again.

Re: 1940 Ford restoration

The advantage of using a rivet is that the body of the rivet will swell to fill the hole tightly as it is being upset.

Re: 1937 Deluxe Metalwork Identification

The long piece, second from the left, looks like the front seat lower side panel with the slot for the seat adjustment handle. The two on the right I can't help you with.

Re: 1937 Sedan Steering Column Colour

Re: 1936 cut up firewall repair.

Re: What fits a 38 deluxe

It looks like both the Deluxe Tudor (700B) and the Deluxe Fordor (730B) used the same trunklid, 81A-706810-D Door assembly. I don't have any information on the 1939 models to see if those parts...

The 1937/38 Body Parts List shows the same trunk hinges are used on 1937 and 1938 convertible sedans, p/n's 78-748150 and 78-748151. There is a pair currently listed on E-bay if you would be...
