Re: dot 3 or dot 5 good and the bad

Re: Cleaning up shop

I just cleaned the front part of my garage so I had room to work on the Fordor. Two days later realized I threw out my cardboard "creepers". Us old fat boys need help sliding around on the concrete...

Re: 1932 Sport Coupe special parts

Sorry, this is the first I've heard of Jim's passing. He used to stop by the shop and we would swap '32 stories. It seemed he knew everybody that had a '32. Did they already have the estate sale?

Re: 32 specifications?

Isn't it interesting on the 'net that someone reads a post & comes to a different conclusion as to what you mean. When I went back & re read your post I realized you asked about a coupe & I had...

Re: 32 specifications?

A lot of information on the HAMB. Deuce Daddy Don in Bend has blueprints for frames and roadster quarter panels. I haven't seen any other prints for other panels. Jerry Kugel had Marcel's build him...

Re: 32 ford roadster question

If the car has no history or famous owners I think the channel would knock it down 30-50%. Gas Monkey Garage found a nice channeled 3 window. Went all out with a new frame, paint, interior, but...

Re: 32 Ford Frame question

It seems all of my '32's have had numbers problems. First one 40 years ago had a strange N CAL xxxx number on the title. It was a valid Oregon title, had no problem putting it in my name....

Re: Nameplate restoration

What specifically is the part. If they repro it, that is probably the best deal. I'll presume you are asking about rechroming the part. For any given shop you will find customers that rave about...

Re: Flatplane/Norden/Cross Fire Crank????

Bruce Crower "Crower Cams" ran some 180 degree cranks in his Bonneville stuff. Don't remember if he ever did a flathead. He did run some other unusual engines.
