For a stock engine or even mild hot rod your crank is just fine as I stated earlier floater bearings are just fine to very good & really no big deal to set up.

Bearings are not that hard to come by & floaters are a great bearings. Preserve.

John these are probably not a good street pistons. They were a racing pistons back in the day that needed extra clearance for racing and their design. They are soft and scuff easily. Forged racing...

Was the 8 ba dizzy modified to fit or a direct install. If direct I stay have Charlie NY on here modify a Chevy to suit a flathead & you will have the best.

That 8BA distributor may be one of the worst Henry ever made particularly in a non stock application

I believe this is 41 Mercury only trim. There is also early 41 & late 41 Mercury trim just like the park lights. Early was die cast. Late was stainless.

I don’t believe the carb & dizzy are correct for that engine. I have a Vedette engine & my carb & dizzy are way different. I believe my carb is a Solex.

There’s a 1930 Lincoln roadster with this engine in the McLeods Farm museum in McBee South Carolina that I have drooled over many times.
