Re: Questions about Borgeson Power Steering?

I had a 67 mustang with the ram attached to the draglink. The thing leaked. They all seem to leak.

Re: Hole inside front block

Ken, I hope you are a member of the national club, and your local chapter...?

Ya know, it would not hurt to put your state on your profile... States are big places.

Re: 30 Model A engine rebuild

Before the Burtz was ready I had to buy an engine. I reused the usual stuff, like head, intake, carb, water pump, and so on. I had a used crank in my garage, that needed to be turned,...

Re: KRW Combination Machine

Yeah it is the know-how. I had a motor redone, and the machinist started doing it as a hobby when her retired. Then he found out he wasn't really retired because people were constantly brining him...

Ya know some people catch a person messin with their car, and that person that did such a thing might be begging for the...

Re: Motor Meter or Quail

In all the years (since 1994) that was the only time my A was messed with.
Some people are just trash.

Re: The Old Motor

Unless the trustee is Theresa Earnhardt. Suing Dale's son....come on! Thank goodness a practical judge listened to her nonsense for about 5 minutes and said NO!

Re: The Old Motor

LOL Roy Acuff was out mowing his land out by the road, on an old tractor. Likely and old Ford 8N. Some older woman pulls up and asks him - "what does that lady the that lives here give you for...

Re: Winfield Model M updraft carb

Dan, so SR is the best choice for an A, if you can find one? What is so special about these? I have never heard of them. I imagine these are big bucks, but gosh where would you ever get parts...

Re: Motor Meter or Quail

I have thought of that. I have one my painter painted for me when he painted my car. A whole lot less attractive, but I get your point.

Kind of a low-life...besides what are they gonna do with...

Re: Hot running ~ Maybe?

How fast (MPH) are you going at 230F? How many RPM are you turning at this speed (say 35 or 40 MPH)?

Does this car have one of those steam tubes that goes back tot he engine, like the LS motors...

Re: Motor Meter or Quail

From a function perspective you are correct, since I have had both. The gauge is very handy. The ornaments doo look cool though.

Re: Motor Meter or Quail

Don't. Took my car to the hardware store(s) a few years back, and someone tried to muscle my moto-meter off, and all they did was break the neck of my radiator. The lady at Snyders told me she...

Re: Batteries completely discharging

Or a draw some place. Start with unclipping the bailing clamp at the end of the steering column, and pull that switch apart. That housing has little tabs on it like a taillight does. See if the...

Re: Connecting Rods Hitting Oil Pan Baffle?

Re: Chevrolet ohv head on a Ford Model A block adapter plate

I...
