Don't know if it was optional but was standard on LTD,XL and Country Squire. On the 67 R code Galaxie, nice. The valve cover caps today would cost more than what I paid for my 67 in 73. Only came on...

I have a 67, It came with 390 4V 4 speed, manual steering and brakes. I believe 67 and 68 door outer skins are the same. Inner shell changed a little for front speaker opening and new inside door...

In that era automatic transmissions had kind of a bad reputation in the south and Colorado. They fried too frequently. Yes vinyl tops were rare in Texas and southwest. We never new what Patina was....
