Torque tube 36 5 window
Boy I had a great time with this. Earlier I started a thread about a noise coming from the torque tube and you kind gentlemen told me the culprit was the pin that holds the driveshaft to the pinion....

They do share a common power. I look at the wiring diagram from Van Pelts. Everything dealing with the exterior lights goes through that switch it seems.

They did have halogen headlights but I changed them out for LED 6 volt bulbs with new reflectors so I could have the original headlight lenses.

Thanks for the responses. The system that runs the blinkers is separate with exception of being tied in to the brake lights

Great question. I checked the source wire to the coil with ignition on and had power to it, and with the ignition off and had no power to it. When the new style ignition is placed on these cars...
