The one with the springs added, i have had them and they are mid 50s lincoln wheels. Original they were just smooth no clips because they had full size hubcaps

He just stated thats what speedway had for $120 but out of his budget. Didnt say they had to be 7" . Sounds more like he would settle for something cheaper.

The pickup 15" wheel for the stock style hub caps are 1956 to 66 and still a lot of them still around for $50 each and less.

Ive have had the same thing happen. But mostly in trucks. Worn out suspension and loose bolt. Better check the bottom of your dash board at the column drop.

Only way to fix it is take it apart....

From what i remember, the tank under the seat is.the same tank as a 46 to 48 passanger car. Check with tanks inc.

Ad the mount. Unless you want to chance it for a crack. Otherwise the next body mount location is another foot foward.

Common place roadster quarters crack is around the top opening were it wraps...

Correction, 39-1/2" at the rear crossmember with the ends trimmed off.
Sub rails are trimmed out to 40" giving a 1/4" clearance on both sides.

I cut the rear crossmember off flush with the outside edge of the frame then move the mounting hole in from there about a inch. I sorta remember 38-1/2" width

Your backing plate shows one of the brass shoe bushing is stuck to the lower anchor pin. They have to match the shoes 42 to 48 with the oval hole. 39 to 41 are round.

Chopped up model A depression tractor / doodle bug.

Has a running 1932 model B engine (fuel pump) with a model A head, transmission and rear with shortened driveshaft


Frame has about 2 ft...

1939 ford V8-60 truck 3 speed transmission questions

Pictured is a 1939 ford pickup V9-60 transmission.

Will the later type gears fit in the case without clearance issues like a 48 case? Obviously this one had been out in the weather.
