Normally when a car is converted to 12v it is also converted negative ground. I would leave it as is.

Thanks nkaminar, I too have a "Heavy Fordor, a '30 Town Sedan. I will try increasing the pressure and see how it rides.

BTW a "heavy" Town Sedan is only ~245 ibs. more than a deluxe Coupe.

I agree. Altho the chart shows the W-16Y is hotter, my car runs much cleaner with the W-18s. The chart is a little confusing because it also states a W-16Y is between an W-18 and W-14?...
