For me I like the simplicity of the machine, all mechanicals are visual and you can see and feel the function of each, kinda like playing with an erector set or tinker toys.

Ok, on the agenda for tomorrow, may have found the problem, I will organize the wiring so it is not a jumbled rats nest but I had coil wire going thru a 90degree boot and that may have prevented the...

If you have the threaded style, buy the tool and put it on your impact driver, that worked very well for me. Tried extension bar on socket
would not budge.

Coil bad?

I have spark at the points but no spark plug spark, using a test lite batt, side of coil lite shines bright, on other side of coil lite is quite dim. Is coil bad and why no spark at plug?

Generator charging revisited

Ok, using a digital voltmeter, set on 20v dc. Wiring disconnected output side of cut out reads 8+ volts. Connecting wiring to cut out to check voltage the volt meter goes bannanas. What is going on

Well, lots to consider, had an alternator on and the readings bounced all over the scale. So my lil bro ( electrical engineer) says it is no good. Hence the query, once I began looking at the prices...

And looking at mine only about 3/8” can tuck in there. It turns a 90degree angle for about 3/8” and then turns another angle of 90 degrees towards the rear of the door post. Since removing the door...
