Re: H 226 and 8BA Flathed Flywheels
Thanks, saved me from buying a flywheel that won't fit. I will have to remove the flywheel in the car and have it re-drilled for diaphragm pressure plate.

Hi All,
Has anyone installed a Snyders heater in their Model A? If so does it work well? Is the heater motor fairly quiet in operation?
Thanks, Steve

Re: Holley 1904 Carburetor
I have had numerous Holley 847 carbs on my H-226 with no luck. All of mine tend to sweat gas and stumble badly on acceleration. Need to bring rpm up to drive away. Accelerator pump drizzles gas, not...

Re: Wheel Cylinder issues
Nick,
I had often wondered about his business, have not been there for many years (early 1970's). Good to know that it is still in operation.

Re: Holley 1904 Carburetor
I found the gasket that came with this NOS unit did not fit correctly and allowed a slight vacuum leak. I made a new correct size gasket and problem solved. My only issue now id no place to connect...

Re: Shoebox Heat
The core and hearing system is all NOS so should not be an issue. Cable moves the valve all the way forward so I am guessing that would be full open. I have a 190deg thermostat.
Engine is 226 -6cyl.

Re: Shoebox Heat
So, would Vintage Air be a better option? Would a more modern engine provide more heat?
Irony here is that the Autolite heater in my Model A puts out better heat than my 50..and it is a quiet!
