Just measured my original Henry Ford body this is what I get 50-5/16. I will tell you my body lines and door gaps are spot on.

As 51 Merc noted check the cam to cover end play. If its excessive that would explain why someone drilled that hole which could be used to hold some type of thrust limiting device.
