I agree with the above answer, the '37 front fenders have a peak down the center, '38 does not.

Mine were packaged wrong and fit about like your picture shows. Returned them and received the right ones that fit tight against the glass. Still a bitch to install!:mad:

I have an 8BA in a '38 Standard Tudor. Truck water pumps/ motor mounts, stock exhaust manifolds (now Fenton headers), T-5 transmission, Walker radiator, electric fan and shroud. No problems...

I'm running P215-70-15 radial tires with a 26" diameter. No tachometer, seat of the pants, purrs along at 70 mph.:)

I am currently running 3.25 gears with a 5-speed behind a '49 8BA in a '38 Standard Tudor. Runs away from most of my buddie's street rods on the open road and with the 5-speed I can run well on city...

I checked mine (Sun MD-1) against a hand held dwell / tach meter throughout the rpm range. I was lucky, same reading.

I bought reducer inserts from my local NAPA dealer ready made for both sizes.
