Re: My '53 Customline

I have run tubeless tires on old riveted Ford rims on several vehicles for 20 years. The most I have done was sand blast and paint the inside of the rim to prevent leaks, and I have never had a leak....

Re: 3.54 vs 3.25

Re: Feedback on by pass spin on oil filter

I find it interesting that lately there seems to be lots of effort to convert the old flathead bypass system to use spin on filters while the car makers converted back to cartridges in canister...

Re: 1941 pickup with ford 226 motor

I doubt the hose is the same. The radiator location for the 41 pickup with 6 was different from what came later. It may be similar to 41 car with 6, but I doubt the same.
Can you use molded rubber...

Are you aware of higher speed gearing options for the original rear axle (please ignore the rest of this post if you are familiar with this, I don't want to sound condescending)?
You can buy 3.54...

I don't have pictures of World War 2 era blocks. Instead I'll post pictures of two blocks damaged by hanging them only from the thin cast on bell housing from modern engine stands. I'm not saying...
