Re: Screw dropped into radiator

do not run the eng. , pull the radiator, turn it upside down and try and shake it out of there. If you have a long flexible magnet , you may be able to snake it around in there carefully and "find"...

Re: What engine is in my 57 Country Sedan

your car appears to have a '58 hood, as indicated by the chrome "hood scoop ". I cnnot tell much about your eng. from the pic, but I can see that it appears to have factory power steering.

Re: Was "Rumble Seat" published?

It would be great if all that info was available in print, like a book similar to jwl's book. Stuff gets lost on the internet. I would buy it.

Re: 1952 Instrument Cluster help?

The round thing with the 2 spade terminals is the turn signal flasher. The other thing (kind of rectangular or square ) looks like it could be a circuit breaker, or a voltage reducer. of some sort. I...

Re: Mag Chloride removal?

We have been using this stuff off and on for years up here in Alaska. It does leave a film that will not come off at the drive thru car washes, and will not come off with just the high press wand at...

Re: rochester 2g's on a Y-block edelbrock 3x2 intake

Re: rochester 2g's on a Y-block edelbrock 3x2 intake

Re: Charging System Issue

Voltage above idle ( about 1500 rpm ) should be a bit over 7 volts. you may have to adjust the voltage regulator

rochester 2g's on a Y-block edelbrock 3x2 intake

Re: Sarter-won't

What Cadillac512 said. just because the starter tests good on a bench, it is not drawing a load, and could be bad. the hot cable says your battery is good , and that something is causing a large draw...

Re: Vapor lock, possibly?

could be a bad condenser, or a bad Ign. coil. they both can act the same way.

Re: Balancing 1936 stock wheels?
