Is there an easy way to ship to Canada from the US? I had to refund someones money on auto parts do to the hassle with the paperwork. This was USPS.

You have to stay vigilant, I got lazy and didn't check the traps as often as I should have. The little varmints ate a hole in my convertible top that was up, off the floor on a lift for the winter....

The small 4inch paper ones were giving me trouble. Your Oil bath should be alright. Like JSeery said try it without.
Check the choke plate, make sure it opens all the way.

From the picture, it looks like you have the red and white wire under one terminal. Is there a reason to hook it up this way?

I like the way you're thinking. I'm doing the same. A T5 would probably preform better, but installing a modern type tranny in my car is not what I want to do with my car. To each his own.
