Re: converting to 1970 v8 points for model a
I have been running the modern points with the wireless contact from Bert's for the last five years since my rebuilt. Still the same set with no problems. I lube the cam with a little Vaseline...

Re: Remote oil Filter Adp
Using the adapter I fill the filter with oil before installing it to shorten the pause in circulation since it holds almost a quart of oil. I don't know if this is necessary but it doesn't hurt to...

Re: power disconnect switch
I cut a round hole in the floor board, mounted the switch on the cross member supporting the front seat. The switch handle sits just below the floor surface allowing me to make a round sheet metal...

Re: GAV knob proper orientation
It doesn't really where the "fin" is located. Check where it is in the closed position and adjust it from there where it runs the best. I think that each car runs a little differently. Mine is in...

Re: Oil Filter Model A on timing cover
I have that kit installed on mine for the last 5 years and it works just fine. When I installed it I loosened the return tube to see if there was a restriction due to the filter and there was none. ...
