Re: Trouble starting my Model A

Re: Urgent Search For Engine

So let's say I have an spare...

Re: Vinyl wrap instead of paint

I looked into it once for the trunklid of my streetrod. The whole thing turned into a legal mess, so I said skip it. I wanted to put a photo of an album cover, or maybe generic photo off the web of...

Re: Decided against turn signals.....what about this idea?

Well, Old31 that was kinda harsh don't ya think? People come here to get help, and discuss ideas. Just because someone has a different idea, or opinion doesn't make it wrong.

Re: Preparing for the end.

I can hardly believe how the prices of good "baby-birds" have dropped. Some of the expensive classics are likely next. The Packards are not always desirable to people that are turning 50 and up...

Re: My 56 Thunderbird transmission Leaks?

Mine leaks a little from the dipstick tube. I thought for a long time it was the front seal. It's not. Hate for you to pull it for nothing. It's worth checking...

Re: go buy a new/rebuilt one

I agree with Old Ugly, and jay jay to some degree. The thing that I would add to what Old Ugly said is that when we are all trying to help diagnose the problem often times we never get a reply back...

Re: Preparing for the end.

I had to giggle after reading this. I have been caught a time in the garage or barn, sitting in one of my cars with a cookie and a bottle of beer just enjoying the view. LOL (I'm 61)

Re: Wanted: To buy a pair of matching wisconsin license plates

There is a website that restores collector car plates. Actually I think they throw them in the trash and make new ones. Think about new ones. Heck if you want them to look old, you can beat...

Re: Front spring arching and replacement?

It has been my experience that even though you can not see it, at least one of the leafs are broken.

Get a new spring. The show quality ones are the exact thickness. The other ones are...

Re: Y-block B intake manifold question

I have a Summit street/strip carb on my streetrod, and it is a nice trouble free piece. I did some tuning on it, and now I never touch it.

Re: late oil pressure

Try this. Change the oil filter. Put on a Motorcraft FL-1A. See what happens. There is a little 50 cent piece in there called a drain back valve. You know, sometimes the simple stuff gets us...

Re: Preserved Time Warp - Unrestored Two-Owner 36K Mile Early 29 with Wonderful Patin

Re: Preserved Time Warp - Unrestored Two-Owner 36K Mile Early 29 with Wonderful Patin

Re: Medal Roof
