465787The hub cap tool does work well, there is a learning curve. If I remember the directions were vague. Mine is slightly modified, I spaced it out with a piece of aluminum stock to make...

Re: AutoLite heater install

Looks like an Otwell hole location. You can tell by factory D nut.

Re: Heater door placement in firewall for Otwell heater

The original Otwell fits the fire wall profile a lot better. They come up on E-bay once in a while, worth the wait. The rolled up aluminum flat stock works well between the door and the manifold.

Re: power disconnect switch

With the small amount thread you have on the switch you could mount it in the hole of the rear motor mount. You have to lift the hood to check oil anyway.

Re: Do You Guys Constantly Re-touch Wheel Spokes?

A little tape on the bar of a 4- way lug wrench and a rubber bumper cut to fit inside the socket helps to keep it off the hub works well.

Re: Smaller wheels for transport?

Let most of the air out of the rear tires and have a couple Husky friends sit on the bumper till you clear the doorway. Most tudors the height is in the rear. Make sure

she's lashed down well....

Re: Cabin Fan

Don't drill any more holes, mine was a column mount. Get rid of the strap and run a round head 1/4-20 through the center hole in the dash panel.

Re: A little wood rot around screw holes

Get out your pocket knife and whittle up some pre cut Maple or other hard wood sticks, tap in with a good wood glue, cut off and drill with a Vix-Bit or other centering drill.

This way worked well for me, it will protect the fenders.
I used the bumpers from my Tudor, split bumper works well
with the license plate.

Re: Heater hose connection

Roofing flashing, cut to depth, roll up, insert it from the firewall door and let it unwind.
Remove with with needle nose pliers. If you screw it up no problem, make another one.

I have an Atlas on my pickup and an Otwell on a Tudor. The Otwell is lower and has a fire wall door that curves a little at the floor. Great heat from both. In the summer you can take the top off the...
