Backfiring

I have a 1934 Ford V8 with 100,000 original miles. It backfires intermittently. New wires, plugs, condenser with recently rebuilt coil. Any suggestions?

Transmission/shock absorber Oil

The manual for my '34 Ford V8 calls for summer oil in the transmission of 260 SAE. I can't find any. In another place it calls for 160 in summer. Is multi viscosity ok? Also, what to others use...

The liquid in my '34 hydrostatic fuel gauge dried up years ago, and there appears to be sediment in the capillary. Any suggestions what to use to clean it out?

I solved the cooling problem when driving my '34 Ford woody, but still have it when idling in parades even here in Vermont. Does anyone know where I could get a 6 bladed fan or shroud?
