Re: Building my wooden cab on my 1928 AA

Yeah! And the frame it was on also has the same wormgear drive rear end that mine has, they were only made for the first few months of production.

I've had lots of people ask questions about the wooden cab on my 1928 AR - AA truck. I wish I had shot videos of the construction, but unfortunately I didn't. I wish I had taken better pictures...

Re: Upcoming videos of our Model A's

At one point we had over 200 outboards, we had 5 1957 evinrude 5.5 HP's we sold off a lot, I have not counted, but I bet we have about 100 around there now. We sold most of the doubles that we had...

Re: Upcoming videos of our Model A's

Lol, I noticed that when editing the video, and to be honest I don't think I've ever seen it there before, but if it is all the way in that back corner it has definitely been there for a while!

Re: 1928 AA with a load of firewood.

It is a mix of oak, walnut, a little maple, and a little mulberry. And I'm ahead of you all on getting some of the weight off the suspension, I jacked it up and cut off a couple of pieces of 4x4 to...

Re: 1928 AA with a load of firewood.

Cool my truck also is a collection of parts out together in to a truck, and it does have 1930 fenders, but only 2 of them, lol. Here is what it looked like when I got it.

1928 AA with a load of firewood.

I thought some of you guys might like to see a couple pics of the old truck with a big load of firewood in the back. I figured I might as well load the wood in the back of the truck before I put the...

Re: Finally got the original grain bed I bought put on that 1928 AA.

Yeah, when I found it it was setting outside, and had been for some time judging by the way it was settled in to the ground, but it obviously had been I a shed for most of its life. The license plate...

Re: Finally got the original grain bed I bought put on that 1928 AA.

Very observant, lol, it is kind of a Franken-truck. As you can see in the first picture it was stripped of all of the sheet metal, which was put on a car frame to make a pickup instead of an AA.

Finally got the original grain bed I bought put on that 1928 AA.

I finally got the old homemade flatbed that was on the AA when I got it taken off and the original 1928 flatbed with grain box that we bought early this year installed. We got it done just in time...

Re: Steering wheel question?

Well I guess on one of my days off of work I'll tear the one out of the car apart and see what it has, because I'm pretty sure the one in the truck is original.
Thanks.

Re: Model T windshield question?

So does that mean that it is probably a 13? I know the pictures are not great, but the people who own it were not there that day so I didn't mess with it much. Maybe I can get some better pics later...

Re: Model T windshield question?

Here is a little better picture of the hinge, I think over all it is in pretty good shape. The glass is good and other think it would be usable the way it is for an un restored car.

Re: Trailer made from 1928 AA truck.

Thanks guys, I was sure the frame of the flatbed part was original Ford, since it says so on the back, lol. But the box is so well constructed I though maybe it was too, it definitely does not look...

Re: 8 Volt battery

I use two 12v batteries and an 8v on my Delco Light plant, but that has nothing to do with this post, lol, it is just easier to get my hands on 12v batteries.

Post Auction find

I went to an auction today and bought a couple small model t parts that were for sale, simply because they were dirt cheap. I got 2 model t radiator shells, I also got 2 pre 19 (according to a guy...
