1931 Huckster

I have a cute little parade truck. The chassis is a 1931 and engine as well. It was built off of the Hudson Wagon Works plans from Hudson Iowa with Red Oak for most of the body and tongue and grove...

Re: "Rainmaker" Ron's Legacy

I love that car! I remember riding in it with Ron when it still had the trick motor... we passed modern cars on the interstate like it was his job. There are so many tricks still in that car,...

Re: Leaking head gasket

Give it a retorque first 55lbs. If that fails then replacing one isn't all that hard but when you take the head off try and check that the head is smooth and flat, it may need to be sent off and...

Re: Model A Huckster Group

Ken,

I have seen a C body in pictures... Rainmaker Ron did one as one of his first builds and if I dig I'm sure I can find a picture or two of it as a 70's build. Good work and keep at it.

Re: Floor Board Dimension Drawing

I've had two sets, one that Rod had made and one Rod had me make. He wasn't always a stickler for authentic as long as it fit and worked. To that I would say if you followed the blueprints and used...
