"A-Bone", by the Trashmen..

And one of my favorites, "Hot Rod Race", performed by Arkie Shibley.

Re: What motor oil do you recommend?

The way it looks to me is, no matter what someone recommends, someone else condemns for one reason or another. Our '30 Tudor has used the same oil since 1978. No zddp. Runs clean and strong after...

Re: Does your Coupe have a Trunk or Rumble seat

When I was little, my grand dad had an early 30 with rumble. Now that I have a young child I'm looking forward to seeing her ear to ear grin that first ride in our late 30.

Re: First Mini-Van? (not an A)

Very interesting. Great concepts all around, minus the noisy but smooth flathead.

Re: My milk shake oil is s-l-o-w-l-y going away.

Sounds like good advice to me. Make sure it gets and stays up to operating temp for a good twenty minutes before shutting her down. Which means, as I've stated in another thread, you need to take the...

Re: 1962 Mercury Meteor question

I don't think you can go that far with a 221, not enough meat. Same with trying to get to a 289 piston with a 260 block. I would bore only enough to true the cylinders and go with it. A fresh 221...

Re: 1962 Mercury Meteor question

Re: Fighting Road Salt?

It would have to be some kind of emergency for me to consider taking one of these cars out in th salt. Salty roads are a lot like sand blasting, it gets everywhere and stays there. Look at my avatar,...

Re: Ebay search help

You're right, it worked once before, but they are making money hand over fist, so their effort is little.

Re: 1930 Town Sedan

Great photos, I'm sure everyone will enjoy seeing the process. Are there more to come? I would like to see the rest of the roof come together. It sure is a long way around a Town sedan, compared to a...
