you can diagnose many things with a scope even weak cylinders lean mixtures.have used them for 50 years still have one.that style wont work one the new cars

way back in the day valve jobs were common.i have done a couple that after doing them it blew the rings out and they smoked likr crazy

back in my early days burnt valves were common mostly caused by short trips and slow speed driving.pulled many heads.

a coil only puts out what is needed to jump the gap,you could have a 100000 volt coil and it wouldnt matter.there are lots of variables on coil out put.probably just a junk coil unless you left the...
