Sorry, I didn't tell it correct.
What you see on the picture is the flywheel with the complete weights.
I got two flywheels... one with and one without weights.
I choose the one with the weights,...

I just have taken the old one in, with the weights.
The weights were not the problem in the end.
I thought they touch the bell housing, but they do not.
See my picture :-)

Hi all,
You are right.
Flywheel is cast, ring gear is iron.
I drilled threads between the wheel and ring always across feom each other.
Will take some screws or grub screw and fix it with...

Hi all,
I found the problem.
Guess what it was in the end...?
The gear ring of the flywheel has moved over 7 mm into block direction. Not the whole diameter, only about a quarter.
So it rubbed...

I am happy it is not the crankshaft play - puuh.
Now I will go step by step. Starter is out of the car.
So the plate will be next.

I am with you. I just remounted the starter and push started the car- still there an getting worse! What do you think about the measured crankshaft play - ok or bad?

I forgot to let you know my newest info.
I let the car idle on my lift and my small son pressed the clutch. You even hear the scratching and the decrease of rpm, caused by the force it takes.......

Hi all, noise seems to come from flywhell scratching on block :-(
I measured the crankshaft play as you told me - sadly I can not load up my photos... :-(
Sorry it is in mm - the play is 0,15 mm -...

I will check the linkage also, which I mean has some play.
A friend of mine reminds me something, which could be bad, too.
As we mounted the TO bearing at our local tractor dealer, where I bought...

I have read an article in a magazin, were they cut the weights away, cause of perhaps rubbing on the bell housing. Think it was street rodder. It is a nearly actual...

..it is not a speedway adapter. It is, I guess a truck one.
Also ist ls the 11 inch PP and Clutch disc.
Just thinking abput changing verything to a lighter version right now, within the fifth...

Also thank you for that recommendation.
I have just been at the car with friend and showed him the noise. Again it was not very loud this time. And even I use one finger on the pedal...I can start...

I just tried with my wife about the crankshaft.
Even if she pushes the clutch hard, the front pulley did nothing. Car was shut off. Than, we started the car and...

...forgot one thing...the noise is even if I only tough the pedal. Would this move the crankshaft, too?

Perhaps a mainiingless question, but...
Would this issue perhaps affect the oil pressure, while pressing the clutch...

The guys there told me to ask you guys, cause you are out there are the real gutus and know much more...
