As a previous poster said, I leave that gap there. There is more then enough heat to come into the cabin, and it lets fresh air mix with the heated air.

I have mine registered as a normal car, not a historical vehicle, so I have normal plates. Agreed value insurance, and they know it is driven regularly.
Here in Ohio this is all you are allowed...

Yes, if you are reading and following the Les Andrew's red book... it says to torque the oil pan nuts to 20 ft lbs. That is wrong and a misprint.
You want to torque them to 5-6 ft lbs... but most...
