FWIW, It looks as though your using the AA bolt location on your cab, and your frame was for a car, as it is not drilled for CCPU mounting...

Have not ordered the new guide as yet, an unsure I will from some of the posts I've read.
Can clearly see differences and the darkness of the colors.

Wasn't aware of that!
Color chips in the published Paint And Finish Guides therefor must be wrong.
Commercial Gray and the latter Commercial Drab were also available, and not at all dark green from...

Replaced u-joint several weeks ago, old one was actually just fine...vibration was still there...
Yesterday was able to determine rear axle is the issue, although attempts to remove hubs...

Will be takng it apart in a couple weeks to find the cause, both of these have been suggested as potential causes!

Tires may be a factor, however it feels more like it's under my feet or below cab...

Purdy, it doesn't seem like lagging to me, but I've only been in one other Model A for comparison....it sure seems like everything is functioning as it should. I've even tried it out earlier today on...

No, flywheel was not marked nor was there any work done to ensure everything was balanced. This was a running motor that had sat for many years, have asked if in fact flywheel was replacement....

The hole spacing is wider, approx 2-3/4" with two 5/8" dia holes
Holes on side of panel are 1/4"dia and 3-3/4" apart.

Cab is off a AA, late 29 thru early 30 San Francisco Plant, may have had a dump bed,...
if that's any help to determine what was attached here!

Having just done mine a few weeks ago, I'd have to say Dan's method would have worked better then channels first. Seems much easier then sliding glass down into channels already in place..!

Yes Chris, I am aware that it wasn't a requirement. I was just thankful the frame number was clear, an the CHP inspector appreciated vintage cars...he was older and understood what I was putting...

I also wondered if it was a 28 cab, thought it might even be an early one because of the body number...it's from the San Francisco Plant, cab is stamped is SFAA 450, but after searching...

I can' disagree, it probably close to dawn gray....but so far I haven't found much to go on for any "original" Commercial Drab references...and images on your computer screen are never what they...

There is more to this trucks story that I will get to when time permits, short version for now is I planned for full restoration...but circumstances dictated getting it assembled...
