Re: 1932 The Deuce, Dually, Dump Truck

Hi Chris,

That Comet is a great looking car. A little nostalgia there? I also have a soft spot for the early Comets and Fairlanes, (the mid-sized ones) as I owned a couple of Fairlanes. One of...

Re: 1932 The Deuce, Dually, Dump Truck

Shed looks good, Chris. So does the Ford Jubilee tractor. Mine looks almost identical. It was handed down to me from my granddad, Sam, who bought my '54 new. Wish I was able to post pictures. I...

Re: 1932 The Deuce, Dually, Dump Truck

Re: 1932 The Deuce, Dually, Dump Truck

Chris, Glad to hear the good news on your engine. You'll have it banging away before long. We're doing some house repairs too, painting, new carpets and windows and a few doors.

Re: 1932 The Deuce, Dually, Dump Truck

Chris, I'm thinking a Ford Tractor cap would fit your radiator. You may have trouble finding one not made for a pressurized system, tho. My 54 NAA Ford uses a 4# cap available at NAPA. PN#

Re: 1932 The Deuce, Dually, Dump Truck

Chris, Looks like a very nice engine show coming up, by looking at the Facebook page. I always enjoy those. Seems like we have fewer and fewer participants as the years go by. No steam tractors, for...

Re: 1932 The Deuce, Dually, Dump Truck

Hi Chris, I enjoyed seeing you and the truck at Franklin. I was kind of hoping to ride in it, but I had to leave to go to a funeral.

It's probably something on my end, but I'm not seeing your...

Re: 1932 The Deuce, Dually, Dump Truck

Chris, I'm still loving your truck as well as your posts. Cooper driving your 32 reminds me of my grand daughter Mabel (9 yrs old) driving my "big" tractor which is a 5000 Ford with loader and 7 ft...

Re: 1932 The Deuce, Dually, Dump Truck

Chris,

My '48 Super Deluxe is flat black enamel. I sometimes wipe it down with diesel fuel to give it a little gloss. It lasts a couple of weeks and I think it looks better, but it catches...

Re: 1932 The Deuce, Dually, Dump Truck

Right Chris, I'm thoroughly enjoying your thread. I'm also a tractor guy. I've recently rebuilt and painted the '54 Ford NAA my grandad bought new. It's always been in the family. Had to re-sleeve...

Hi Sugarmaker, Any chance Ford tractor points and condenser would work in the distributor?
