Napping during the day is fine for people that fall asleep easily. Myself, usually about 1/2 an hour or more. During the day, forget it.

I've heard of people that won't eat the crust, they cut it off and discard it, saying it's only fit for hogs.

Caused by dissimilar metals and an electrolyte; aluminum boat, steel trailer, steel chain and salt water or spray and/or salt water vapor.

Didn't happen overnight, I would surmise that it sat...

FWIW, I have a small piece of angle iron bolted to the floor of my garage that I can connect a come-along to for when I'm alone and need help getting a vehicle in. It's close to the wall so it's not...

I would have tried "Use more power and feed the engine Marvel Mistry Oil" first, then if that didn't work I would have tried "dusting" the Bon AMI trick.

I've heard of dusting Bon Ami into the intake of a running engine for seating piston rings and/or deglazing cylinder walls.

IIRC, the Le Rhone was a fixed speed engine, that's why, when one is coming in for a landing you hear the buuurp, buuurp, buuuurp

Once upon a time I remember a young fellow (about 8 or 10 yo) telling me that his dad couldn't work as they were on welfare. I had met his dad a few times and he seemed perfectly healthy and normal...

Is your non-taxed fuel coloured as it is in North America? Here they have a habit of "dipping" the tanks of vehicles suspected of using "dyed" fuel when they shouldn't be.

I worked in a lot of diesel power plants, some of them used 6-71s that ran at 1200 RPM, they were fairly quiet, some of the power plants used 6-71s that ran at 1800 RPM and they were real screamers....

Would it not be better to pull away from the failed engine as the failed engine creates drag on that side and pulling towards it.........
